What Is Precision Beef?
Precision Beef is a state-of-the-art feed with a proprietary limiter that does not smell like fish or rust steel like a high salt mix does. It has been on the market in the Midwest since 1997, so with a proven track record it only needs customized to fit your desired consumption and rate of gain.
Precision Beef is designed for growing calves from 400 to 1000 lb with a desired rate of gain from 0.5 to 3.0 lb per head per day or breeding stock that needs additional frame and/or condition.
Good quality forage should be available free choice from hay or pasture. With correct usage, founder (acidosis) is eliminated due to the limited amount of starch consumed in a single feeding and throughout the day.
Precision Beef reduces your labor, management needs and cost of gain, freeing up time and resources for other important jobs. Precision Beef is an economical self-limited feed that is adaptable to many feeding scenarios. Precision is formulated to provide energy and protein along with a complete vitamin and mineral package to keep cattle healthy and can be customized to help you meet your performance goals

The following performance records were compiled by Purina Mills, LLC and compare Purina Mills’ Accuration and Impact ration to Precision Beef by Great Plains Livestock Consulting, Inc. The trial was performed by Purina Mills, LLC at Franz Farms in New Hartford, Missouri.
The cattle on this trial were home raised, non-implanted calves fed on a self-feeder. Cattle were fed in pens of mixed steers and heifers, with 56 head fed Purina Accuration and 55 head fed Precision Beef.
