Family Coop Chicken Chick Starter
Family Coop Chick Starter is specifically designed to be the first feed the chick eats. It is also designed to be the sole ration, so it has the proper levels of vitamins and minerals to build a healthy gut and strong feathers. The best combination of amino acids ensure that the first feathers are in excellent condition so future feathers will also grow in strong.
Family Coop Chick Starter should be offered free choice until each chick has consumed 2 lb. Fast-growing broiler breeds may consume 2 lb in approximately 10–14 days. Slower-growing breeds and pullets may take up to 21 days to consume 2 lb. After chicks have consumed 2 lb of Family Coop Chick Starter, switch to Family Coop Broiler Grower / Finisher or Family Coop Pullet Developer.
